Newell Brands Production Associate in Winfield, Kansas
The production worker processes any combination of tasks involved in the assembly of plastic/molded parts to ensure established quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly perform precision cuts and accurate trimming of plastic/molded parts.
Properly identify and package good quality parts.
Properly foam plastic/molded parts.
Read, interpret and follow processor instruction sheets.
Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to work overtime as well as some irregular hours. This position will work in a reasonably clean production environment. Due to working in a production environment, the exposure to noise is constant. Seasonal weather variations may result in frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions, particularly on the receiving floor and production areas where open doors allow exposure to prevailing weather conditions. Physical exertion such as pushing, pulling, kneeling or heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is frequent.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of six months stable and verifiable work history required.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must have no more than one corrective action on file within the past (12) months
