The Supply Chain Contracts Agent is responsible for all aspects of supplier management, to ensure supplier’s performance to contractual, technical, commercial, and material obligations in support of the design, build, and delivery of production aircraft. It is the agent’s responsibility to harmonize, communicate, and resolve issues to secure order fulfillment and technical deliverables. The agent may be responsible for aircraft systems or structural commodities.

In your role, you will:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial issues

  • Lead cross functional program reviews

  • Provide support for resolution of technical issues

  • Provide both quantitative and qualitative inputs of supplier performance

  • Develop corrective actions for supplier performance deficiencies

  • Support the change management process

  • Adhere to material master data, inventory level and costing targets, and program requirements

  • Work cooperatively with Operations, Material Logistics, Engineering, and Core Supply Chain, to provide support as required and offer solutions to a variety of technical and business related challenges

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree

  • You typically have 3 – 5 years of related experience (supply chain, contracts, program, etc.)

  • You have basic knowledge of legal terminology, interpretation of contracts, Operations Management, Business and Finance.

  • You have the ability to apply logical thought processes and organize resources in order to solve issues and meet commitments.

  • You are able to make decisions and seize opportunities in the context of business objectives.

  • You can partner effectively with others in order to achieve results.

  • You have the ability to satisfy internal and external customer expectations and develop partnerships.

  • You have excellent negotiating and oral / written communication skills.

  • You have Interpersonal skill to work effectively with a variety of individuals, department and organizations.

  • You possess the ability to work effectively across both language and cultural barriers.

  • You have personal computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft software.

  • You have experience with SAP or other MRP systems - preferred

  • You have the ability to support moderate travel, both domestic and international
