The role of the Program Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver programs according to plan. The Program Manager will also define the program’s objectives.
Who you’ll work with
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company projects or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Directs and manage program development from beginning to end.
Define program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve program goals
Set and continually manage program expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the program team.
Identify and manage program dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track program milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals , requirements documentation and presentations.
Troubleshoot problem areas, Manage changes in program scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans
- BS degree in engineering, science or business
· 3 years direct work experience in program management or in lieu of experience applicable internal experience.
· 1 year experience technical understanding of machining and assembly of large integrated structures, designs, processes, manufacturing operations and applications.
- US citizenship or evidence of authorization to work in the US for any employer for an indefinite amount of time.
Demonstrated ability to react to program adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and Project
Strong written and oral communication skills
BS degree in engineering, science or business
Aerospace manufacturing industry experience.
Technically competent with various software programs such as Project Management, Catia and Enovia.
Strong analytical and financial skills
Aerospace Program Management desired
